USWNT news upsets Alex Morgan.

The United States Women's National Team kicked off its participation in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup by playing its first two matches in the tournament at prime time in the United States.

But, sadly for the diehard supporters of the squad, that won't be the case for the game against Portugal on Tuesday, which is a match that might decide the tournament.

Due to the fact that the competition is taking place on the other side of the globe in Australia,

the match between the United States and Portugal in Group E won't begin until 3 a.m. Eastern time on Tuesday.

Portugal will be the visiting team. This means that in order for supporters on the east coast to see the USWNT play,

they will need to either wake up very early in the morning or stay up very late into the night.

In any case, according to Alex Morgan, the standout striker for the United States Women's National Team, fans are going to need a lot of coffee.

"Footy for coffee," Alex Morgan stated in a tweet on Monday evening before the team's opener at 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
