U.S. reaches World Cup final after Penso calls England-Spain game.

Despite all that's happened, the United States is still moving on to the next round of the World Cup.

The majority of the officiating crew for Sunday's championship match between England and Spain 

assistant referees Brooke Mayo and Kathryn Nesbitt, and a fourth official, who has not yet been named.

This is the first time that a referee from the United States has been selected to officiate a men's or women's World Cup final.

Yoshimi Yamashita, a native of Japan, will serve as the fourth official for the event

referees at Stadium Australia in his capacity as the Support Video Assistant Referee.

Since the elimination rounds started, Penso has had a lot on her plate to do.

Penso will be working his sixth game at this World Cup, which will conclude with the championship match.
