Marvel has recently gotten into a lot of criticism for not paying their employees what they are entitled to.

 The most well-known example is the exploitation of VFX artists, who are possibly some of the most vital employees in the Marvel film industry.

Hugo Weaving, an MCU actor, has also spoken out on the matter.

The actor, best renowned for his roles in Keanu Reeves' The Matrix and as Red Skull in Captain America: 

 First Avenger, went on to reveal the true reason for their absence from the acclaimed flicks, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

Hugo Weaving, who played the famous Red Skull in Captain America:

 While he did not expect to play this character again in any Captain America film, he was aware that he could have to reprise the role in an Avengers picture.

Weaving signed the deal, believing that he would return in some fashion.
