The opposing coach has a harsh warning for the US women's squad.

One opponent coach thinks the US Women's National Team may be losing its FIFA Women's World Cup dominance.

Before this week's match against the USWNT, Netherlands head coach Andries Jonker said European athletes are fitter than Americans.

Jonkers told ESPN's Fresia Cousiño Arias in translated comments that European football's energy and fitness had increased in recent years.

I think American women are no longer fitter than others. Nowadays, the Champions League is intense. What remains of their superiority? "We'll see."

The top-ranked United States is trying to win the competition for the third straight time. Jonkers remarked “pride comes before a fall.”

Jonkers remarked, “I’m from Amsterdam, so I’m familiar with a confident attitude. “You can be confident if you perform well for a long time.

However, pride comes before a fall, so we must be the first to demonstrate their fall."

The Dutch drew with the US on Wednesday night, which may support these claims.
