Riverdale Video: Jughead Gets Closer to Discovering the Comet's Truth
This Wednesday's penultimate episode (The CW, 9/8c) features Jughead informing Veronica that his latest comic book was rejected by Dr. Werthers.
The narrative "The Comet," about a Black man and a white lady falling in love after a comet destroys New York City, was the sticking point.
But we also know that Jughead, Veronica, and their friends are in the 1950s because Tabitha whisked them away to a safe time period after a comet demolished Riverdale.
So perhaps that knowledge is beginning to permeate Jughead's subconscious.
Tabitha reappears in a trailer for Wednesday's episode, showing Jughead something on his screen that has him in tears and stating, "I remember everything."
With only two episodes left, the truth behind the gang's time travel back to the 1950s is beginning to emerge.
The episode's official synopsis states, "As the town's past secrets begin to surface, Jughead and the gang are forced to make a life-altering decision.
The series finale of Riverdale, which will feature an elderly Betty retracing her high school years with her friends' memories restored, airs on The CW on Wednesday, August 23 at 9/8c.
