After ten years, Tomlinson announced his resignation from television on Monday night.
At the age of 32, I gave up playing football. At the age of 44,
I've made the decision to stop working as a football expert on television.

Thank you to all of my friends and coworkers. Being able to watch the game closely and putting together fantastic football shows with you guys was a delight. I'm eager about all the opportunities that will come with this new chapter in my life.
Tomlinson joined NFL Network in 2012, immediately following his retirement from the NFL,
and he appeared on many of the network's programs, including NFL Total Access.
Prior to that, he spent 11 NFL seasons with the New York Jets and San Diego (now Los Angeles) Charger
