Aaron Rodgers may have delivered a subtle message to the New York Jets' front management ahead of the 2023 NFL season.
Aaron Rodgers hasn't looked this joyful in a long time. The four-time NFL MVP appears to be enjoying his time with the New York Jets, with whom he wants to achieve success in the future.
The veteran quarterback made amazing experiences with the Green Bay Packers, but it was evident that he wanted leave for a long time.
A-Rod finally got what he wanted this offseason and appears determined to succeed. Rodgers recently agreed to a restructured contract, accepting a $35 million pay cut with his new squad.
However, the quarterback believes the Jets can now pursue another star with the money saved from his prior contract.
"What it boils down to is... it was the right thing that made me feel the best," Rodgers told NBC Sports' Peter King. "I thought it was important that they knew how
committed I was." And, in my meetings with [GM] Joe [Douglas], he has made his vision for the football team extremely clear.
"You probably agree with me on this. This year, compared to 2005, the number of transactions with people getting cut and trades has increased significantly.
