Messi drives resale prices for Dallas vs. Inter Miami to absurd levels.

The Argentine superstar's arrival to Toyota Stadium will devastate the economy of fans who will have to pay up to hundreds of dollars to see him.

Lionel Messi's appearance at Toyota Stadium for the League Cup match between FC Dallas and Inter Miami has caused the Texan venue's resale prices to skyrocket.

Tickets for this match sold out shortly after they went on sale through official channels,

although resale is also in the process of creating a round deal just hours after the aforementioned match was played in the contest's Round of 16.

The most costly tickets are around $9,000 for the match,

which will be Messi's first time leaving his new home to face another MLS team.

On the official resale sites, you may find prices around $450 (with tax) for tickets that are normally $40 for a regular FC Dallas game on the American circuit.

Tickets for the 'Supporters' area, where animation groups generally go (but will not attend due to the prohibitively expensive rates for this duel), exceed 700 dollars.
