James Gunn Dismisses Grant Gustin's Return to The Flash Rumors


DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn discusses Grant Gustin's Flash's return after a social media conversation.

James Gunn dispels rumors that Grant Gustin may return as The Flash in the DC Universe. DC Studios is producing several films and TV projects for Gunn and Peter Safran's Warner Bros.

Discovery DC Universe. While other characters are entering the franchise, fans are still intrigued about The Flash, especially after Ezra Miller's film bombed.

Over the weekend, people speculated that Gunn had addressed his DC Universe Flash problem by emulating Grant Gustin, the longest-serving Barry Allen actor.

 After The Flash ended in May, anticipation rose that the 33-year-old actor might return to the DCU.

Gunn and Gustin followed each other on Instagram over the weekend, leading followers to believe they were working together.

 @matthewchadd1987 questioned the DC Studios co-CEO on Threads if Gustin would play The Flash again or a different speedster. 

"Grant was following me and I like him as an actor so we chatted a bit and I followed him back," Gunn clarified. Very easy!"
