"I'll get you." Trump threatens competitors; prosecutor wants protective order 


In response to a third indictment, Donald Trump continued to make threats against his detractors.  

Late Friday, special counsel Jack Smith requested a protection order be issued against the former ,

president to stop him from releasing information from witnesses. In a late-night court request, 

Smith essentially argued that Trump's outbursts could have a chilling effect on witnesses in the case. 

"All the proposed order seeks to prevent is the improper dissemination or use of discovery materials, 

including to the public," Smith claimed.The prosecutor noted a threat Trump,

made in all caps on Truth Social earlier in the day: "IF YOU GO AFTER ME, I'M COMING AFTER YOU." 

Smith's move brought to a close a day in which an unrepentant Trump traveled ,

Baker Mayfield on his competition with Kyle Trask for the Buccaneers' starting quarterback position - "Nothing new to me"
