Following a $32 million deal on Indian Creek, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner have leased a Miami condo.

One of the area's most expensive new complexes, Arte, rents the duo an apartment. Trump is retiring to Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach. His daughter and son-in-law are also moving to Florida.

According to a source, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, top presidential adviser, have leased an apartment in Arte. The pyramid-shaped skyscraper by Italian architect Antonio Citterio is one of Surfside's most expensive new beachside buildings.

 It's also expensive: The Wall Street Journal stated a New York private-equity executive paid $33 million for its penthouse.A building developer is related to the president.

 Tamir Sapir, a Soviet émigré who managed a vast New York real-estate portfolio, founded the Sapir Organization, which Alex Sapir now runs. Before the 2008 financial crisis, the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization built the Trump SoHo condo-hotel.

According to a source, Ms. Trump and Mr. Kushner leased a huge, unfurnished unit in the building for at least a year. Zillow reports that comparable properties rent for tens of thousands per month. The pair is building a house on Indian Creek Island near Miami, which they bought for $32 million.The couple was unavailable for comment.

The 16-unit building's apartments include direct elevator entry with fingerprint recognition, broad wraparound terraces with Roman travertine ceilings, European white oak flooring, and temperature-controlled parking.

A 75-foot heated indoor lap pool, private rooftop tennis court, fitness center, children's playground, and residents' lounge are among the building's features. 

According to the source, the pair would bring additional protection to the building, which has 24-hour security. Douglas Elliman runs construction sales.
