Despite players' fears over late-night endings, US Open continues with two-night bouts.

The US Open officials insisted on two-night matches despite players' worries about late-night finishes.

Iga Swiatek, Elena Rybakina, and Aryna Sabalenka have voiced worries over late-night tennis tournament endings. 

They claimed that late endings are not ideal since participants need appropriate pauses to recuperate throughout an event.

Stacey Allaster, US Open tournament director, said late-night matches were extensively reviewed after the 2022 US Open.

"The top leadership team meets to discuss issues. Late-night matches were highly discussed and evaluated

following the 2022 US Open "pre-tournament news conference.

the evening session sooner would be difficult for New Yorkers attending the matches.

"We checked the match start time. Could we start the evening session at 6 instead than 7?
